Dear good readers, here’s a little background for you.
My new book, Beatrice B. Goode (Book series #2), contains a patchwork of stories that I have written over the years. Many of them come from my blogs. Others are just a few of my life stories that I reminisce about. You’ll read some far-out fantasy, some parody, and satire mixed in with attempts at humor. You may find yourself thinking that they are all pure fiction stories, but that would be an incorrect assumption. Some of the tales are loosely based on true stories. It is my hope that in quilting this literary patchwork together, you will find that you have enjoyed learning all about the wonderful lady named Beatrice B. Goode.

So, who is Beatrice B. Goode?
That’s exactly what Beatrice wants to know. She struggles through life as a diner waitress and a cook with an eternal identity crisis. She constantly seeks answers to unanswerable questions regarding her life circumstances. However, through it all, she is the ultimate survivor with the help of God’s grace and a few good friends who are always looking out for her.
The fun loveable but QUIRKY Beatrice B. Goode character was introduced in the book, Jean’s Heroic Journey, which was published in 2024. This new book titled Beatrice B. Goode is not really a sequel to Jean’s Heroic Journey, but rather a spinoff with a few of the same characters along with a few new characters as well. In the new story, several nuanced references are made back to the first book, so it might be helpful to read Jean’s Heroic Journey first. However, this part two of the series is a stand-alone story that can be read and enjoyed on its own before or after you read the first book.
As Beatrice would say, “It’s a real trip baby!”

Where do I begin? Some will say, “At the beginning of course!” However, as many of you know, I am not the best rule follower. In fact, some consider me to be a wild, brash, rebellious, counter-culture anomaly. Untrue! I reject the anomaly characterization. Most of you will love me, some may hate me. I don’t control that. However, I’m betting that you’ll love reading about my crazy life adventures. So, come take a ride with me baby, through my groovy blog.
